It's work being in an interracial relationship, including friendships. There is hands-down a lack of respect of Black people that permeates interactions between white and Black people. Whether or not you decide to engage in that battle is a personal choice. It is a choice that I will not encourage but for which I will offer resources and support.
This is about me learning that sometimes the enemy appears from within. I had a lot of work to do on myself in order to improve many things in my life.

It's interesting how race isn't real but racism is. And how we identify race is a pretty shitty metric. That said, it's worth talking about.
Racists, sexists, ableists, sizeists – it’s time to own our shit and change everything or we will be nothing.
People aren't going to make space for everyone. When you don't see yourself in the landscape where you want to be, make a space for yourself. You deserve to be seen.
